Case Report on Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Lip

Introduction: Lip cancers are the most prevalent oral-maxillary malignancy. cancer can be caused by a number of things, including smoking, exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays, and drinking alcohol [1] In this article we report case lower lip squamous cell carcinoma in 59 year old male patient who smoked heavily had history direct sun exposure, uv rays. His is important attributable recurrent axillary metastases occurred after subsequent treatment.
 Clinical Findings: The chief complaint burning sensation on consumption hot & spicy food since 3 months, apraxia, difficulty mastication 2 months approximately nerve parenthesis lip.
 Diagnostic Evaluation: Hemoglobin (HB) -13.2gm,mch-27.9fl,mchc-33.3%, Total red blood (RBC) count-4.72million/cu.mm Rdw- 12.7%, white (WBC) count- 16500cu.mm, Monocytes -4%, Granulocytes- 85%, Lymphocytes -10%, Esonophils-2%, Basophilis-0%, platelet count-2.68 cu. mm.
 Histopathology report: A multiple, irregular, reddish, brownish tissue pieces aggregating 1×1cm. selection from given piece shows histopathological features suggestive well differentiated carcinoma. Therapeutic Intervention: post-chemo hydration, drugs, BEP Chemotherapy (Bleomycin, Etoposide, Cisplatin).
 Summary Conclusions: was years admitted oral surgery ward. diagnosed as having he complained over preceding apraxia mastication, period about paresthesia within his lip. He underwent mandibulectomy with excision tumour. Following radical adjuvant chemotherapy radiotherapy, has remained no evidence metastasis at 4 follow-up based upon clinical assessment radiology imaging which does illustrate that surgery, plus chemo-radiation for locally advanced been shown associated good short-term outcome further assessments, long-term would known.
